Detailed information

Product detailed description

The Fallkniven Gentleman's Pocket Knife is made from laminated Lam.CoS cobalt steel and features a desert ironwood handle. This is a very durable and hard wood that can be a little difficult to work with due to its high density and also sinks in water.
This traditional closing knife offers modern materials and hi-tech solutions. Fallkniven asked a few professional hunters to take a look at a handmade sample, and their response was, "This is what a hunting knife should look like!"
Among other benefits is a reliable blade lock. A properly assembled linerlock system is, in Fallkniven's opinion, the strongest blade lock in the world and is also easy to use. This technical solution also means that the knife is easy to clean. Just rinse the knife under running warm water and leave it to dry. The blade joint does not require lubrication. Oil and lubricant attract dust and dirt, increasing rather than reducing wear. A loop at the end of the handle allows the knife to be tied down.

The company has sporting knives, hunting knives, rescue knives, damascus blades and many more in its range. "We are a family-run business, our roots are in Norrbotten, Sweden. We have been hunters and fishermen for decades and know from personal experience what a knife should be." The company started its operations in 1984 and is now recognised as one of Sweden's top manufacturers. "We started developing our own knives in 1987 and today this is our main activity in Fällkniven. We have gained a lot of experience over the years through close contacts with both customers and other manufacturers. For this reason, we are today also a supplier to His Majesty the King of Sweden."
