Product detailed description
The noble collector's version of the 2021 Anniversary Knife, whose choice this year fell on the popular Böker Trapper Uno, features a stainless steel damascus blade by Chad Nichols, which is hand-forged according to the Ripple pattern. The exceptional handle is made of blue stabilized curly maple wood, which has a unique striped crosshatch pattern. In combination with the decorative brass bolsters, it creates the colours of the city of Solingen and the bolster on the front of the knife also features the city's famous emblem. While the two crossed swords are meant to emphasise the importance of the city of blades as the place of origin of quality cutlery, the anchor is considered to be a symbol of St. Clement, who has been venerated as the patron saint of the city since the 10th century. Handmade in the Böker manufactory in Solingen and strictly limited to 999 pieces produced for the whole world.

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
