The Dachs Howed knife is a quality closing knife that meets demanding requirements for reliability and performance. The blade is made from proven D2 steel, known for its excellent wear resistance and decent hardness. This material ensures a long blade life and the ability to maintain a high sharpness even under intensive use.
The handle of the knife is constructed from G10 material, which is a glass fibre reinforced plastic that is valued for its considerable durability, lightness and strength. G10 provides an excellent grip that is secure and comfortable even in adverse conditions such as moisture.
The knife's mechanism includes a Linerlock lock that ensures the blade is securely locked in the open position while allowing for easy folding. This lock is valued for its simplicity and reliability. In addition, the knife is equipped with thrust bearings that allow for smooth and quick blade movement during opening and closing, increasing overall efficiency and user comfort.

Czech knife manufacturer Dachs knives has been producing custom knives since 2002. Its range of interest includes both fixed and closing knives. The idea of Dachs Manufakture (Industrial Production) was born at the end of summer 2019, when the company came up with the idea to start producing knives with the help of a machining centre.
We offer knives where the machining centre has helped with the production, but it is still manual work and finishing such as edge stripping, grinding, fitting, chamfering, and finishing is still done by human hands.
