Product detailed description
The blade designed as a rescue hook with a rounded tip prevents accidental injury when rescuing a third person or during self-rescue. The blade with an inner radius behind the tip allows for quick and intuitive cutting of harnesses, cords and ropes as well as safe cutting through the clothing of injured persons. The serrated blade in the second half of the blade also allows cutting thick and tangled ropes. D2 stainless steel was used for the blade due to its extreme tensile strength. The handle body has distinctive finger grooves for the required grip security and is additionally textured to prevent slipping. The aluminium material used for the handle has the required strength combined with light weight. The indispensable side window breaking mandrel has been provided with an effective steep taper. The core of the glass breaker is made of extremely hard tungsten carbide. For easy replacement when worn, the glass breaker is screwed onto the handle.

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
