Product detailed description
The Böker Plus Rescom ultra-compact knife is based on the popular Böker Plus Subcom model by Chad Los Banos, but unlike the original model, it features a versatile multi-function blade. The enduring popularity of this practical rescue tool among professional rescue and first aid workers has now prompted us to re-release this useful classic from our range in an upgraded version. The Böker Plus Rescom 2.0 features a D2 rescue blade with a black finish that combines a number of practical functions and can save lives in an emergency. It opens with a thumb stud on either side and is securely locked in place by a two-millimeter steel plate frame lock. The distinctive hand guard increases comfort when holding and prevents slipping into the blade. The textured handle made of black Zytel material has a three-dimensional milling and thanks to this surface texture, ergonomic shape and ribbing in the thumb rest area, it always fits securely in the hand, even when wet.
With lanyard loop and convertible clip (tip-up/tip-down).

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
