Product detailed description
The Boker Plus Kwaiken Flipper knife by Lucas Burnley is arguably one of the most influential designs of the 21st century. The modern pocket knife has become a true icon thanks to its clean and utilitarian shape. The clean lines and slim design, which even when closed houses the complete blade, are absolutely unique. It is a further development of his famous Burnley Kwaiken Classic - a cord-wrapped New Japan fixed blade. The flipper provides intuitive control and added safety, while the Linerlock lock securely locks the narrow damascus blade. Swedish Damasteel powder metal, which has been one of the most desirable damascus brands for many years. Not only its breathtaking visual appeal, but also its very good edge hold and stainless steel properties make damascus blades not only true collector's pieces, but also fully capable utility knives for everyday carry. The exclusive appeal is underlined by the titanium scabbards, which give the knife a very special look. The thin construction and exclusive materials make the Kwaiken a true cross between a gentleman's bolt action and a tactical knife.

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
