Product detailed description
The Böker Plus Kihon DC is a great example of the combination of Japanese tradition and modern design. Lucas Burnley has captured the essence of the Japanese Kihon, which is reflected in the simplicity and functionality of this knife. The D2 drop point blade offers excellent cutting performance, and the ball bearing makes it easy to open, making it an ideal choice for everyday use.
The sliding latch locking mechanism ensures secure use, while the 15% weight reduction makes the Kihon even more comfortable to carry. The GFN handle with textured surface provides a firm grip, which is important when working. Blue anodized details add a stylish accent to the knife and make it visually appealing.
With the option of a lanyard loop and a convertible wire clip for a variety of carry options, the Kihon DC is a practical and aesthetically pleasing companion for everyday tasks.

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
