Detailed information

Product detailed description

Efficient, flat, fiery - in the lightweight Boker Kihon Bifold, American knife designer Lucas Burnley expresses the idea of Japanese kihon in form and philosophy.
The term originally encompasses the fundamentals and basic techniques of the Japanese martial arts, whose peaceful spiritual interpretation can be felt in this knife.
The features and design give the knife a practical chic as the perfect balance for all cutting tasks.
The drop-point blade in CPM MagnaCut powder metallurgical material (61-62 HRC) and stonewash finish stand for maximum stability with excellent cutting properties.
It holds an edge, is hard, corrosion resistant and tough - qualities that leave nothing to chance!
The control concept with a nail notch and back lock to open and unlock the blade will be intuitive; the folded, one-piece stainless steel handle in stonewash is iconic.
With a lanyard hole, reversible tip-up clip and plenty of elegance.
Handmade in the Boker manufactory in Solingen.

bokermag

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
