Product detailed description
The Böker Quadro hunting knife continues to be a delight for traditionally-minded hunters. The classic deer horn scabbard gives the pocket knife an extraordinary appeal. The special feature of the deer antler knife scabbards is their individual shape. While wood handles differ primarily in pattern and colour, antler knife handles are also characterised by a very specific surface texture that makes each specimen unmistakable.
The demand for premium steels with extreme blade durability is also huge in the hunting sector, although traditional knife designs are still preferred here. Our more than proven Quadro pocket hunting knife is now optionally available with a main blade made of powder metallurgical material CPM-CruWear with a hardness of 62-63 HRC. This extremely durable blade steel allows the hunter to use the knife significantly longer than traditional 440C steel until the knife needs to be re-sharpened. Otherwise, the original design has been completely retained, so the Quadro CPM continues to please traditionally oriented hunters. In addition, it features a toothpick knife, saw and corkscrew.

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
