Product detailed description

Unimpressed by more than 150 years of history, the lightweight Böker Barlow pocket knife brings the legacy of the popular model series into the future with a modern contemporary spirit.
Only the finest materials, the finest craftsmanship and 1869% passion go into the elegant BRLW G10 knife.
The visually contrasting, precision-milled handle in timeless black G10 material is a stylish feature that lovingly echoes the distinctive, extra-long bolster in the front and the wood grain in the back of the handle.
A discreetly integrated linerlock locks the ball-bearing clip point blade in CPM MagnaCut powder metallurgical material (61-62 HRC) with sure ricasso.
This blade steel is particularly characterized by its symbiosis of high edge strength, hardness, corrosion resistance and toughness.
The discreet flipper, which completely disappears when open, and the flat milled titanium clip (tip-up/r), which allows for unobtrusive deep carry, contribute to the refined look. A lanyard attachment hole at the end of the handle provides additional carrying options.
The Böker BRLW G10 comes in a high-quality felt sheath.
Handmade in the Boker manufactory in Solingen.

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
