It's clear to us that if an EDC closer is going to be really good, it needs to combine several key features together. It needs to be lightweight, comfortable in the hand, reliable, and pleasing to look at and play with. We believe the A100 combines all of these perfectly. Its 3D profiled and contoured Ultem shanks are super lightweight, durable and very comfortable. The A Hundred's blade is made from great Elmax powder steel, which is deep-frozen after hardening, giving it a very durable blade that retains toughness and corrosion resistance. The whole assembly is then secured by a right-handed, safe and very user-friendly Alock. The A100 also features a contrasting red floating backspacer that acts as both a palm rest and a grommet for a loop or talisman.
The extremely durable ULTEM composite material gives the A100 the strength it needs while keeping the weight incredibly light. The entire knife weighs only 72g. The surface of the scabbard is channelled, giving a secure grip, looks great and doesn't prevent it from sliding into your pocket. Thanks to the overall 3D profiling, the A100 handle fits perfectly in the hand and does not get in the way in the pocket.
