Founded in 2008 by veterans Curtis Ivito and Mark Carey, the brand grows from more than four decades of experience the two founders gained as NCOs in the U.S. Special Forces. The first chapters of the Spartan Blades story were written in a historic mule barn built before the American Civil War in Aberdeen, North Carolina. The modest equipment and limited resources of the time contrasted with the boundless passion and precision Curtis and Mark devoted to every detail. Each blade prototype was designed for maximum durability, ergonomics and functionality - without compromise. This obsession with quality quickly gained recognition not only among military professionals, but also among collectors and outdoor enthusiasts.
