Marbles
American inventor Webster L. Marble came to Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the early 1890s and quickly gained a reputation as one of the region's best "time travelers." His uncanny ability to look at a particular area of forest and predict the yield of its acreage made him very popular with many timber companies in the area. Marble loved the outdoors, and the vast Upper Peninsula offered countless opportunities for hunting, fishing, camping, and exploring. An inventor by nature, he was constantly striving to create useful tools and equipment that would be practical and durable in the outdoors. This was the beginning of the production of various accessories for guns, knives, etc. under the brand name Marbles
