Product detailed description
With the Böker camping knife, one of the ancestors of all modern multi-purpose pocket knives, the history of the Böker company began in1869. After nearly 150 years of success on the market, it was time
to transform this proven concept into a modern knife. The modernized design, which is based on
strong steel inserts, is anchored in a handle with two contoured blades made of
hard G-10, combining a firm grip with great ergonomics. While the Tech Tool Outdoor
series models feature olive green blades, the Tech Tool City knives are introduced with black G-10 blades.
Swedish Sandvik 12C27 steel, with a Rockwell hardness of 58°-60° HRC, provides excellent edge retention
of the hollow-cut blade. Classic tools such as a saw, screwdriver, scissors etc. provide a suitable solution
for all tasks, while clever details such as the double-sided pocket clip, the hinged loop for hanging
or the handy tip for breaking glass show the sophisticated technology of these pocket knives. High
quality manufacturing, a smooth efficient blade and optimized functionality are proof of the premium status

Böker - the history of the factory dates back to the 17th century, the original forge was then located in Remscheid. In 1829-30, production was extended to sabres and swords. At that time, the factory employed over 100 blacksmiths and sharpeners. In the second half of the 19th century, part of the family moved to the USA and Canada, where they established further production facilities. The last of the Bocker siblings, Heinrich, moved to Solingen where most of today's production comes from. Boker manufactures knives according to its own designs and those of well-known knifemakers.
The company now manufactures its products in Germany, the USA and Argentina and uses the marketing brand MAGNUM. Böker develops new types and designs itself and employs several designers. The knives are manufactured on CNC (computer controlled machine tools) with the highest quality.
